PEDAL CAR CONTEST:
To raise money for the George Mark Childrens Hospice, custom car builders from the Bay Area will build 6 custom pedal cars to be raffled at the "Kings By The Bay" car show. The raffles will be $5 a ticket and 100% of the proceeds will go to the hospice. (A car cannot be raffled if it accumilates less than $300 dollars in ticket sales.) If that occurs, the total sales and tickets will be evenly distributed amongst the other remaining pedal cars and the car will be taken out of the raffle. All car builders must have the pedal cars operate by pedal assembly. Each builder has 6 months to build so how extreme they want to go is entirely up to them. Money or time in each car is sponsored by the builder, where each builder will only be provided a pedal car that they picked, by the Style Kings car club. All cars must be returned by May 26, 2010 where the finished car pictures will be posted on this site for everyone to see. The car that has the most, in total ticket sales will be the winner.
Special thanks to our builders: Robert Alcosta of the Viejito's car club, Robbie Moore "metal extrodinaire", Lee wiliamson of the Strangers car club, Skoty chop of Skoty Chops Customs, Tony Parker of the Style Kings car club, and Jesse and Mike of Broke Neck Customs.
